Swain Post was originally an independent fur trading post built and operated by George Swain. In later years Swain Post was turned into a Fishing Camp. In 1978 my mom and dad purchased the camp, he ran it until he passed away in 2010. In 2012 I purchased the camp, I am running the business much like my Father did except we do not sell bait or fishing licenses. In 2021 my wife Jess passed away my sons and I continue to run the camp with her memory and personal touches felt throughout.
